1. These terms

These terms apply to your use of mpw-culinaryacademy.com (“the site”). By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. Our Privacy Notice and Cookie Notice explain how we use personal data and cookies, and form part of these terms.

2. Who we are

The site is operated by Impact Learning & Data Solutions Limited, trading as The Academy of Culinary Excellence and as The Training & Learning Company, a company registered in England and Wales under number 05526370, registered office Axis 19 Mallard Way, Riverside Business Park, Swansea Vale, Swansea SA7 0AJ. 3. Using the site

You may view, print and download pages from the site for your own information and for the purpose of considering the Academy’s programmes for your organisation. You may not:

• copy, reproduce, republish, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our written permission;
• alter any content;
• use the site in any way that is unlawful, or that could damage or impair it or interfere with anyone else’s use of it; or
• use automated tools to scrape or extract content, including any entry in the Register of Accredited Chefs when it opens.

4. Intellectual property

The text, design, photographs, films and other material on the site are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The name, image and signature of Marco Pierre White, the title “Accredited by Marco Pierre White”, and the Marco Pierre White Learning Collection are owned by MPW Culinary Academy Ltd and are used by the Academy under licence; the Learning Collection is published by Sonoro Publishing. None of these may be used by anyone without written permission. A chef accredited by the Academy may use the title in accordance with the terms of their accreditation.

5. Information about programmes and funding

The site describes the Academy’s programmes and the way apprenticeships are funded in general terms, for information only. Apprenticeship funding rules, eligibility and employer contributions are set by government and change; the rules in force at the time an apprenticeship is agreed will apply. Nothing on the site is an offer, a guarantee of a place, or advice tailored to your organisation. Apprenticeship training is contracted between an employer and us, as The Training & Learning Company, under a separate written agreement, and these terms do not form part of that agreement.

6. Links to other sites

The site links to websites operated by others, including businesses associated with Marco Pierre White. We do not control those sites, and a link is not an endorsement or a recommendation. Their own terms and privacy notices apply.

7. Our liability

We take care to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses, or that its content is complete or current. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

We may change the site and these terms at any time. The date at the top shows when the terms were last updated, and the version on the site at the time you use it applies.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them or the site.
